The pub is found in Soho, Central London, W1F 7NX.
A little gem of a pub on Poland Street with, unusually for central London, no food other than filled rolls stacked at the back of the bar. Now one room, but up to 1985 the rear area was still a separate saloon bar accessed from a passage behind the bar before it was moved to its current position. The brass plaque advertising the room is still in situ. There is a hatch serving the rear area. The gents are downstairs and the panelling and bannister on the staircase show the old art of graining. The process by which cheap wood was made to look like more expensive woods like oak.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
