12:00 Door opened as we parked up. Very friendly welcome. The Landlord showed us a very grubby light switch retained from before the renovation work. He obviously took on a challenge. The pub has quite restricted opening hours, only four days a week. A sign outside proclaims "No free Wi-Fi, Get Drunk and talk to each other."

Sharp's - Offshore3.80GoodLimited release described as an exceptional six hop IPA. At the risk of seeming cynical I would guess that may be the number of individual hop cones in the brew. Pleasant enough but lacking any bite.

The pub is found in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, NR31 0PD.

Tucked away in the back streets north of the town centre, overlooking the harbour. The pub was bought by the current owner in 2011 and has undergone a complete makeover. The interior is very neat and tidy with smart new bar and bar back. The pub is noted for live music and is popular with bikers.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
