This pub reopened yesterday after refurbishment and it is jam-packed tonight.

Early evening and quiet, we chatted to another chap from Birmingham on a similar pub crawl to us. Atmosphere spoilt here with lighting far too bright.

20:00 First stop after checking in to our hotel. Came specifically as it's a brew-pub. Not disappointed, only one brewer's other beer on. The rest of the city was very busy but this was a haven of peace so we decided to stay and eat. Comfortable, friendly and excellent food. Recommended.
