Evening. Went in on a whim as the building looked so grand. 2 handpumps but the barman said he had only seen the one in use in his 3 months here.

The pub is found in Borough, Central London, SE1 1XU.

High ceilinged wedge shaped corner pub with original wooden tiled floor. Large windows give a great view of busy Borough High Street. On the corner outside front wall is a memorial plaque to the fallen in 1914-1918 of London Hop trade men. The bar counter is against the back wall and has 2 handpumps. Reported early 2017 that no cask beer sold here now. Re-launched and re-named in 2018 and cask beer reintroduced.
