Just a handful of customers here in the early afternoon as I had a quick one whilst keeping an eye on the unmarked bus-stop nearby for the last bus back to Southminster (at 2:20pm!).

An attractive, rural pub that stands literally at the end of the road at Bradwell Waterside, which has superb views across the Blackwater Estuary, and beside the marina. The pub has its origins in the sixteenth century and has beamed ceilings and an ancient fireplace. Pavement tables at the front and a beer garden to the rear. Accommodation is offered.
