Unplanned, short visit, following meltdown of the North London Line (unspecified ‘incidents’ at Stratford) and I give it 30 minutes to sort itself out; which it does. Busy here.

Pre-Christmas drinks with Dave R and lucky we got here early to find a table as the pub soon became very busy indeed. Five or six home-brewed cask beers available in total.

Very pleasant and not too busy in the early afternoon. There has been some speculation as to how much brewing actually takes place here, but I’m listing beers on the assumption that they have been brewed on site.

The pub is found in Highbury, Greater London, N5 1JJ.
The second London outlet for this expanding brewpub chain, opened in June 2015. Located in a former tramshed, it is a charismatic venue, with seating on two levels in a building which is by definition long and thin. Courtyard-style outside seating at the front. Brew-kit highly visible.
