I’m the first customer through the door at noon following a long circuit of Highgate and Hampstead on foot. I don’t have the place to myself for long though.
West by Three - DDH #1 Enigma & Simcoe 4.80ExcellentCloudy pale gold. Soft, fruity flavours. Pineapple. The novelty of these things is starting to ware off.
Wander Beyond - Peak3.80AcceptableA hazy-golden, soft Pale Ale that does not taste very fresh.

My first time here – excellent place. They have an especially good cask beer selection for the duration of the London Beer City week and it looks as if it is proving popular.
Beavertown - Smog Rocket5.40ExcellentGreat to find a cask version of this lovely, smoky Porter.
Cloudwater - Session IPA4.80ExcellentA pale, hazy, gold colour. Hop-filled. Bang on trend.
Weird Beard - Duke of Dank6.30ExcellentSpecial beer brewed for this pub for this week. A bitter Red IPA. Marvellous stuff.

Evening latish. Knew I'd find a nightcap beer here. Annoying to have brazen e-ciggers puffing at the bar.
