21:00 Having left the Masons and walking down Fishergate we passed this place. My mate who is a York resident had never been in and had been told it was keg only. A LocAle sticker in the window encouraged us to investigate. Friendly welcome from the barman. Clientèle were mainly men of a certain age waiting for the band to start. Turned out to be called Pig Iron specialising in heavy metal covers. Really good especially the lead guitar. We stayed for a second pint.
