20:00 Having not lingered last time we decided to have pint here. Very busy for a Monday both in the bar and the restaurant. Half of the bar was taken up with two poker tables the rest with people watching the football. We sat in the restaurant ante-room. Not a very welcoming pub.

Victorian hotel still offering accommodation. Four rooms, front bar, rear pool room, rear restaurant and a small area with a sofa and a tall table between the bar and the restaurant. Some good etched and stained windows and a splendid mirrored bar back.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 1 of them.
