20:30 Having failed to gain entry last time we had another go. An inauspicious start. A young lady turned round from the bar and spilt a fair bit of lager over me. A few in playing darts. Very welcoming barman.

22:00 Another pub on my wanted list. Unfortunately it was hosting a Goth music evening and were charging an £4 entrance fee. We had an interesting chat with a young man having a smoke break but decided we were probably too old for such an event.

Named the Barrack Tavern until 1976 this is now renovated pub with one large bar. Three bar billiards tables, one with skittles, two with mushrooms. Does another pub have more? Collection of vinyl and a record player in one corner.
