Mid to late evening we arrived just in time for 9pm last food orders which turned out to be a very good meal indeed. Friendly and welcoming combined with a superb beer range yet bizarrely this pub isn't in the GBG and the Hungerford Arms is?

2100 and busy. Good beer range and knowledgeable helpful bar staff. Great pub we liked the atmosphere here hence stayed for a few more.

Aftenoon visit, a detour from the Railway Station on the way to the Downgate. I did not make a note of all the beers on offer.

12:30 An outing to travel a particular piece of new track at Reading, Feeder Relief for those interested, meant catching a specific train from a station between Bedwyn and Reading. This pub read well so Hungerford it was. Sadly their own INNformal beer was in the cellar but had not been racked, however the choice offered was very good. The pub itself was very quiet, two wine drinkers at the bar and two groups of ladies dining.

Two Cocks - 1643 Cavalier3.80ExcellentThe other regular beer
Loose Cannon - Belgian Farmhouse4.50GoodI was expecting a Saison type beer but it was more of a standard bitter. Unusually the pumpclip had the date June 2015 on it. Something I haven't seen before.
