13:00 Returning home from a funeral in Luton this made a perfect halfway stop. Good beer, good pub grub, friendly welcome. A proper pub.

Single room village pub with what is best described as a traditional interior with wainscotted walls and basic pub furniture. Sold by Greene King in 2000 the pub has become the hub of the community. Two regular beers and two ever changing guests.
