Staying in a nearby B&B, we ate in here on two nights (good food served in huge portions) and I was pleased to see real ale from a local brewery.

The pub is found in Strontian, Argyll and Bute, PH36 4HZ.

A modestly-sized, lochside hotel which dates from the early-19th century. The Bothy Bar is open to non-residents in the evenings for drinks and food. The hotel has fabulous loch and mountain views. There is one handpump on the bar.

We have visited this pub once, seen 1 beer and tried it.
