Evening until close. Fearing a food house atmosphere I was pleased to find just 3 locals chatting to the barman on an obviously quiet night.

In Shooters Hill Road at the foot of the west side of the hill itself, a Greene King Hungry Horse chain pub and so is aimed squarely at the family market. It has a large interior divided into different areas with an extensive pub food menu, but usually only a single real ale. The walls are adorned with pictures and stories of local famous residents such as Boy George and Manfred Mann. 2 handpumps.
