Early afternoon, I had never been here before and decided to have a look as I was walking past. I really liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer.

13:00 Second stop. Few diners and a couple of drinkers. Didn't feel that we were the right sort of customers. An exercise in badge engineering. The uninitiated would see a choice of beer from four breweries. I wish that CAMRA would take a stand on this and campaign for the true provenance of a beer to be shown on the clip.

The pub is found in Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 3JR.

Former two bar pub renovated in 2014. Now one room with a central bar. Left hand side laid up for dining, right hand side for drinking. Gastro grey walls with cursive script exhortations to drink eat sleep. How quickly an innovation becomes a cliché.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 9 different beers and tried 2 of them.
