Evening. A quiet oasis away from what I thought was the nearby patched up and run down town centre. Chance to look through the GBG collection here and Protz's "300 beers ...." book.

Very busy in the mid-afternoon, with every table taken and two deep at the bar.

Cosy pub with several small rooms, rather than one bar and a small courtyard to the rear. Log fire and pleasant friendly company and well kept Fullers Beers. Wide ranging menu includes both Traditonal and Thai food with many vegetarian options for those that are interested. Very busy at weekends but worth a second visit.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Porter5.40ExcellentLovely chocolate finish with a long after taste.

The pub is found in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1JD.

A Fuller's pub with an interesting Thai / British menu. Well kept Fuller's & Brakspear's beers. Gets busy at the weekends, especially if the rugby is being shown. In the old and quiet part of town in Church Street it has retained many original features with distinct public and saloon bar areas. The River Chess flows past the entrance to its yard and under the corner of the public bar. The 4 handpumps are on the saloon bar counter.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
