Beautifully kept country pub (possibly an American's dream of a quaint English hostelry?) but with bias towards food rather than beer. Having said that the beer was well kept and the menu whilst not cheap, even by local standards, was interesting and imaginative. In short somewhere where I would bring a client but not really a place to have a session.

The pub is found in Flaunden, Hertfordshire, HP3 0PH.

18th century country pub/restaurant in Long Lane, Hogpits Bottom, with emphasis on those dining, however well kept cellar still entices those who do no wish to eat. Well kept small garden to side.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
