14:10 Next stop in a circular tour based on catching the 15:04 from Westbury in order to traverse a particular section of track at Reading. The bar was very busy and the atmosphere was lively. My wife tried a keg cider we hadn't seen before, Sharp's/Sheppy's Orchard Craft. The verdict, not as good as Aspall's but an acceptable substitute.

The pub is found in Frome, Somerset, BA11 1DS.

Intriguing pub built on a slope so that the back entrance and public bar are substantially higher than the front entrance and the other public rooms. The public bar is known as Findlays Real Ale Bar and is long and thin with room for just one row of seats opposite the bar counter. All cask beer is on gravity with the casks stillaged behind the bar. A range of cider in polypins is also available.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
