Fairly quiet until our group of twelve arrived, most of us sat in the room upstairs whilst a few braved the drizzle outside whilst I and one other remainded in the bar. People behind the bar commented on a newspaper that the under 24 age group are turning away from alcoholic beverages.

My first visit here, I liked the place and bought some bottles to take away as well as some cask ales for consumption on the premises. Real ale prices were very reasonable, a fact that I am told has upset some other nearby landlords. There were four cask ales on offer plus keg products, I have not listed all the beers available.
