Moonshine (see also Cambridge Moonshine) - 18 Carrot Gold6.10UndrinkableTruly bizarre. The pump clip said it was number 9 of the 13 moons of 2015. Presumably a monthly special. Ingredients include carrots, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel and vanilla pods. My mate had a pint, I suspect he didn't read the pump clip. I had a taste. Best description, old fashioned black & white humbug. I could not have drunk a pint. My mate bravely drunk it but reckoned he could still taste it the next morning.

The pub is found in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, CB3 0AH.

Formerly the County Arms, a two bar 1930s pub, this has now been renamed, knocked into one room, and decorated in an industrial chic style. Whilst the pub is an Everards house it also serves as the brewery tap for the Calverley's brewery which set up in 2013.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
