The pub is found in Highbury, Greater London, N1 2NA.
A red-brick pub on one of the corners of the sprawling road junction at Highbury Corner. The pub was present by 1865 and in its present incarnation it has an attractive exterior, with a large ‘Bass’ advertisement and a hen with five chicks in relief up by the roofline. Today it is best known for its upstairs theatre and as a live music venue. The ground floor bar operates as a normal pub, and there are some pavement tables available for the brave.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
