11:25 Inspired by Mr Pirrip's attempt to undertake a Blue Posts pub crawl in 2014 I thought I would go one better and visit all five examples at a time they would be open. Accordingly I meet my chum the BGP here and kicked off the crawl. Just two other customers.

The pub is found in St James's, Central London, SW1A 1RP.

In Bennet Street, a modern building replacing an older pub with the same name. Large single room with the bar tucked in one corner. Just around the corner from the Ritz. Beer prices reflect the well heeled nature of the area. CAMRA discount available. There are a number of stories about the origin of the name Blue Posts, the pub sign here portrays the correct version, namely a "taxi rank" for sedan chairs.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 8 different beers and tried 3 of them.
