1200 on a pleasant sunny day, fairly busy with a mix of all ages. We took advantage of the very good value lunchtime baguette and chips offer for less than a fiver! I plumped for the well filled chicken and stuffing option which puts many pubs to shame for similar but meagre offerings at over inflated prices.

Mid evening visit and this month's venue for our Friday evening group. Amazing 18 handpumps of choice but many including me wondered if that was just too many for the level of business.

14:30 Last stop of the day. We sat in the panelled room. The pub was reasonably busy and we met the brother of the man with the memorial in the Market Inn.

Muirhouse - Simple Simons' Stout4.50GoodVery sweet, almost a milk stout. Wrongly badged as Close Brewery which appears to be a cask rental business.

The pub is found in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE29 3NR.

Greene King owned (ex Spirit) former coaching inn that re-opened in 2014 after a six year closure, with what seems a totally free of tie lease. Entered through a door off the old coaching yard arch the main bar is a long thin room. To the front right there is a further panelled room with an interesting carved beam supporting the ceiling. Local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year 2016. 18 handpumps.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 37 different beers and tried 9 of them.
