The Butchers Arms, Herne, Kent

IanExceptional27 Aug 2010 Ever since having this at Nottingham BF a few years back, it has become a firm favourite. Good intense dark fruits and rich dark chocolate. A bit too much for the Welsh Wizard.

AndrewExceptional01 Jun 2007 Bitter chocolate and buscuit flavours in this dark mild. Virtually no hops to mention. Fantastic example of a proper mild
IanExcellent01 Jun 2007 Very good dark bitter choc, blackberry/blackcurrant flavours.

Montefiore Arms, Ramsgate, Kent

AndrewExcellent22 Mar 2007 Took me a while to work out there were no hops in this. Slightly sour black beer with an oily sheen to it. Subtle burnt malt on the finish.
