The pub is found in Kennington, Greater London, SE11 5QY.
A short walk from Vauxhall station in Kennington Lane, this is a Grade II listed late Victorian pub rebuilt in 1891. One long thin room with a wonderful bar back that would appear to be of the same date as the rebuild. The rest of the pub décor seems to date from a 1960s makeover with some unusual boxed sided benches and a "Bass on Draught" window pane. Closed after licensee retirement, refurbishment and re-opening expected. Re-opened with new name with new operators.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
