It is a pleasant evening and I meet Robert S here to continue our tour of South London’s breweries. Given the weather, most customers are sat outside. I’m a pint ahead, but then we both go for a three thirds sample tray of the key-keg beers.

The pub is found in Herne Hill, Greater London, SE24 9EH.

Bullfinch Brewery was established on a very small scale in 2014, sharing a Bermondsey brew-kit with Anspach & Hobday. After a little hiatus, they reappeared in their own Herne Hill railway arch, using a second-hand Charles Wells 5-barrel kit. A very pleasant little weekend taproom has been developed. A mixture of bottled, keg and cask conditioned beers (four handpumps) are sold for consumption on or off the premises.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 7 different beers and tried them all.
