A late lunch in here following a delightful walk in the New Forest National Park. The pub is very busy despite (or perhaps because of) the poor weather. A house beer from Ringwood also available.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Vibrant Forest - Flying Saucer4.30ExcellentServed on gravity dispense from the cellar. A beautifully-balanced, hoppy, Golden Ale. Good enough to have two.
Vibrant Forest - Vienna Rye Pale3.70AcceptableA cloudy amber colour. Good rye flavours, but a very soft mouthfeel and a bit yeasty. Cannot be much left in the barrel I think.

This pub is not in Beaulieu itself but way out on the heathland beside Beaulieu Road railway station. It is associated with the next door Beaulieu Hotel. There is a large, flagstoned bar area, the right hand side of which is principally for diners. Very large rear garden. Local brewers are supported.
