Superb pub with wood and stone floors and a small bar that crosses 2 of the 3 rooms. The landlord is obviously an Arsenal fan judging by the pictures on the wall. The music playing on the stereo was all 70's and 80's stuff which was great. Wish I could have stayed here all day.
Tring - Side Pocket for a Toad3.60GoodYellow-brown colour. Sulphourous malt with syrup. Shorted lived, but sharp, bitter finish.
Potton - The Village Bike4.30GoodBrown bitter. Soft mouth feel. Heathery and peaty with slight sharpness and a metalic finish.
Tring - Great Gulley4.30GoodPale brown malty beer with hint of syrup. Big, short lived, malt-bitter finish.
Church End - Banger Bitter (aka Vicar's Ruin)4.40Not Tried
