Brew By Numbers - 55/02 – DIPA: Mosaic Columbus | 8.00 | From key-keg. Superb, strong IPA. | |
Fourpure - London Beer City 2016 | 4.80 | From key-keg. This year’s special beer, a collaborative effort by several London breweries including Fullers. Perhaps not quite as special as I was hoping – but I’ve been on the good stuff tonight. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Five Points - IPA | 7.10 | On key-keg dispense. A very good, strong IPA. It must have been very fresh on as there was no build-up of CO2 at all. | |
Del Ducato - Violent Femme | 4.20 | On keg dispense. A very murky gold colour. A hoppy saison-style beer from Italy. |
Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |

Renaissance Brewing - Boonies XPA | 5.50 | On keg dispense. A golden and well-carbonated beer. Nicely chilled. Lovely fresh hop tastes. | |
Renaissance Brewing - Boonies IPA | 5.70 | On keg dispense. Quite similar to the XPA – slightly more mellow hop flavours and a shade stronger. |

The pub is found in Stratford, Greater London, E20 3BS.
A spacious new bar and restaurant, opened in June 2016 by east London beer entrepreneur Ed Mason and others. Associated with The Five Points Brewing Co. The bar has a canalside aspect and is one of a line of new bars and restaurants opened at the same time in the former London 2012 Olympics Media Centre. Served by the 388 bus route from Stratford to Hackney. Specialising in ‘craft beer’ and ‘street food’ – two phrases that still need italics, whilst their definitions develop. Closed in September 2018 due to insufficient footfall other than at peak times.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 8 different beers and tried them all.
