Late evening until close, I was the only customer remaining until the very end. Very friendly bar staff and well worth the visit.

Former coaching inn and regular haunt of the highwayman Dick Turpin before his capture. The stable blocks have now been converted in to accommodation. The bar has a separate dining area for those wishing to eat.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
