Early evening just two others in, friendly welcome from the jovial guv, who spotted me taking a photo of the outside and requested a royalty payment of £5, which I was happily prepared to pay as long as it was contactless. Proper no frills micro pub atmosphere. Incredibly one of the half owners of the Frothblowers came in with his son and he promised to update the opening hours on the pub's Facebook page!

The busiest pub visited in Peterborough this-evening. True to form for a micro-pub, we got chatting to a couple who squeezed onto our table. Dave and I stayed until time was called at 8pm.

A city-centre micropub in Westgate which opened in a former retail premises in June 2016. Perhaps breaks the micropub ‘rules’ by having a couple of keg fonts, but ticks all the other boxes. This pub is sister to the Coalheavers Arms across town.
