Early Saturday evening - pub and lounge very busy but restaurant empty. Friendly, helpful staff - we had two infants with us and ate in the Dining Room. Good, fresh fish dishes.

In High Street East, a pub of two halves. Double fronted, granite built, traditional Scottish hotel style pub. High ceilings, little light, bar area to left, pool and sports TV to the right. Lounge area behind including big leather chairs. A modern extension at the rear the "Dining Room". Light and airy and suspended above the play area and garden that falls away below.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
