Early evening- a respite from the 30 degrees plus in Whitstable. My first visit (my wife is getting into craft beers). It surprises me that a product with very little wastage can command a premium of over a pound a pint. Pleasant place, relaxed and friendly. 12 beers and ciders on tap (of course). Just listed those tried.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Time and Tide - All in Jim5.40AcceptablePleasant enough - but the key-keg fizz spoils it a bit.
Time and Tide - Sula3.80AcceptableA collaboration with Manchester brewer Squawk apparently. Very “crafty” -infused with raspberry and blueberry apparently. Quite pleasant for a beer that looked like strawberry squash.

Pub 8. A tap heaven. Ian loved it; taps taps taps. Apparently keg beer is as good as cask - blar blar blar - says Ian. Anyway, very pleasant venue.

Evening visit and impressed by the enthusiasm of the barman who answered our multitude of questions about KeyKegs but naturally failed to convince we two caskmen of the acceptability of the contents. Only listed the one beer I tried.

Pig & Porter - Signs of Triviality (keg)5.50Acceptable£4.40pp saison which was murky and lacked the mouthfeel I expected

It calls itself a craft beer bar and is in the middle of the High Street. Shop conversion, which is long and narrow, with a bar on the right behind which are 12 wall mounted taps connected to visible KeyKegs underneath.
