Fourpure - Juicebox | 5.90 | From a keg of some kind or other. A cloudy, golden IPA – moderately carbonated. Very, very fruity, in an orangey way. | |
Forest Road - Work | 5.40 | From some sort of keg. A nice, clean and hoppy, if a little fizzy, IPA from Hackney’s newest brewery. |

The pub is found in Leicester Square, Central London, SW1Y 4UY.
In Charles II Street, a tiny pub and bottle shop opened in the Royal Opera Arcade in 2016 as an offshoot of the nearby Pall Mall Fine Wines. I hesitate to use the term ‘Micro Pub’, as cask beer is not routinely sold here, but there is lots of keg, bottle and can from micro-breweries – although otherwise it seems bang on the concept. Has seating inside for around eight at a squeeze, but there are a couple of pavement tables on Charles II Street and more in the arcade itself. Takes quite an imaginative approach to pricing. Closed on Sundays. Announced by The Beer Collective in June 2020 that the venue would not be reopening after the Covid-19 lockdown.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
