I remember coming here to help celebrate a friend’s 19th birthday, way back in the black and white era – not sure that I have been back since before tonight. A busy, Thursday evening crowd.

The pub is found in Leicester Square, Central London, SW1Y 4EA.

A long-established, street-corner pub that has been here since at least the 1820s and rebuilt in its present form in 1878. For most of its history it was called the Union Arms, but was renamed the Tom Cribb in 1960 in honour of former a landlord and boxing champion. The connection is maintained with plenty of boxing memorabilia in the single ground floor bar.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
