Visits Details

18 May 2008 (Charles)
Visited at 10am for a pot of tea before taking to the hills and used the opportunity to photograph the bar with nobody in it. Returned after 6pm for a post walk beer. A few folks in. We sat outside for a bit until the midges chased us in.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harviestoun - Bitter & Twisted3.80ExcellentAs good as it comes.
Fyne - Summerled4.00ExcellentSeveral of us ordered this. It is brewed locally on the other side of the Rest And Be Thankfull. Only one pint left but was able to take a small sample and it tasted good. Don't know this one though so I can't comment whether this is the beer at its best. Plus bear in mind beer tastes at its best immediately after a mountain walk.
