Food pub, non-food area very small and includes toilet entrance, fire exit and slot m/c. Service was very good.

COVID restrictions meant outside seating only, I chose a table which had its own post box so I posted my renewal subscription to the Brewery History Society in it. My pint was served in a plastic container which I think affected the taste of the beer. After supping my pint I walked along the coast road to Herne Bay for my daily exercise.

Gareth and I were passing so got a half and sat out in the breeze.

The pub is found in Herne Bay, Kent, CT6 8DL.
Imposing detached building on Western Esplanade overlooking Hampton Pier. Arguably the last surviving building of the original Hampton-on-Sea village, the rest of which was engulfed by the sea in the early 20th century. Traditional seaside pub with a restaurant area.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
