Lunchtime visit. As is often the case these days, the restaurant area of this pub was completely deserted but almost every table in the bar area was occupied by diners. We appeared to be the only people in just for a pint.

The pub is found in Ashcott, Somerset, TA7 9PZ.

A large and comfortable eighteenth century pub which stands on the High Street of this Somerset village. The bar has three seating areas at slightly different levels. There is a restaurant room to the rear, a function room in a modern extension, and a large, sheltered garden at the back.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
