The pub is found in Whitechapel, Greater London, E1 7QR.

In White Church Lane, originally the Horse & Groom, this pub was present by 1763. Historically it was a Truman’s Brewery house. In 1989 it was renamed Cauthens and by 2006 had been renamed again Bar Locks. It is a small, street corner pub. Although very close to Aldgate East tube, it is a bit tucked away and has very much a backstreet local feel.

We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
