Lunchtime. The rest of my group decided to drink elsewhere after a friend's young daughter was refused entry.

I have seen this pub from the bus on many occasions and never thought about paying a visit until I noticed its entry in the Good Beer Guide. I am happy to report that it fully justifies its entry and I was made very welcome.
