Lunchtime fairly quiet although I waited longer than expected due to the barman dealing with a customer who didn't know what they wanted.
Vale - Bohemia3.90AcceptableDecent enough pint but served too warm on a muggy day.
Sharp's - Doom Bar4.00Not TriedUnaware this existed in West London, took me by surprise.

Second pub on our revised itinerary, traditional back street local albeit rather incongrous for the size of the place in a residential area. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable barman offered tasters without prompting.
Adnams - Arabella SB4.50GoodA blend of US hops and UK malt made for a smooth creamy malty beer.
Sharp's - Coaster (or Cornish Coaster)3.60Not Tried
Purity - Pure UBU4.50Not Tried

Early evening with a fairly light trade, although people are starting to gather for live jazz later in the evening. An impressive pub which is an unexpected find in a residential street.
Weird Beard - Hit the Lights5.80GoodAmber-coloured and very bitter.

We were greeted by very welcoming and enthusiastic staff and then sat down and discussed politics on the day before a general election. We noted that one of the Monster Raving Loony Party candidates wanted to abolish real ale by drinking it all.
