Late afternoon I arrived in good time for my flight so took the opportunity to enjoy my last pint or two of British ale for the next three weeks. Relaxed calm atmosphere here I can't recall ever seeing this corner of Gatwick so ghostly quiet!

Mid evening relaxed calm atmosphere here compared to the frenetic Premier Inn restaurant opposite where we were staying. We sat in the upstairs restaurant for our meal served by friendly attentive staff. Worthy of note the ex slam door stock luggage racks adorning the wall by the servery.

Only cask choice available but in good condition with the full IPA bitterness coming through.

2100ish we ventured over here for food as our Premier Inn restaurant had an hour waiting time whereas this was not very busy. Friendly and fast service for such an outlet, I was even offered a taster of the house beer.
