My second visit to this pub, I was disappointed with the beer last time so I was hoping for better things this time, unfortunately that was not to be. A lovely pub though.

Very welcoming, we had a good chat with the lady behind the bar about various subjects ranging from seaside holidays to the fact that it appears that their "Arkwright" cash registers may be maintained by the same person that does the one at the Rifle Volunteers in Maidstone. We took advantage of the cheap food here with most of us opting for the hot salt beef sandwiches for £2.50 each.
