It is a rotten, sodden day for a walk in the country and I linger here for more than is usual over a lunchtime pint. So far as I could tell, there were no Heads of State present today.

A rural pub in a hamlet at the edge of Princes Risborough, nestling at the foot of the Chilterns. There is a bar area at one end of the large room, with a focus on dining at the other. The pub rose to fame when then-Prime Minister David Cameron brought the Chinese President here for a fish & chips lunch in 2015. The pub stands close to the Ridgeway Path and is popular with ramblers. Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available.
