Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Greene King - London Glory | 4.10 | I’ve previously thought that this beer, of all of the GK range, has a bit of character. I’m failing to detect it tonight however. | |
McMullen (sometimes latterly brand badged as Rivertown or Whole Hop) - Rivertown 3.2 | 3.20 | A harmless, low-strength Bitter. Rivertown turns out to be a McMullen alias, not the new brewery I had supposed. | |
Greene King - IPA (was 3.6%) | 3.40 | Not Tried | |
McMullen (sometimes latterly brand badged as Rivertown or Whole Hop) - Original IPA | 4.80 | Not Tried |

The pub is found in Pimlico, Central London, SW1V 2SA.
A sizeable, long-established (1759), street corner pub on Vauxhall Bridge Road. It stands midway between Pimlico tube station and the Tate Britain. Split-level bar area. Traditionally a Watney’s house, this pub went through several owners before being acquired by McMullen’s in 2012.
We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
