Early afternoon and just a few in at this time of day, I compared the prices of cask and new wave keg beers and was glad that I drink cask. Very welcoming bar staff here.

My first visit here, I popped in for one on my way to the railway station. This was early on a Thursday evening and the pub was busy and there was some live music. Service was quick and cheerful.
