The pub is found in Stepney Green, Greater London, E1 4DU.
This is a small, street corner, brick-built pub. It is handy for Stepney Green tube station. Traditionally a Truman’s Brewery pub, there has been a pub present on this site since at least 1838. There is an island bar and a very small yard at the rear. For a while, the pub only opened to ‘regulars’ at weekend evenings, but it is now restored to full pub service. It has a slightly Bohemian feel and is dog-friendly.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
