I was not particularly impressed with this pub (and note that I had no idea at the time of my visit that it is a ‘gay pub’). My first pint had to be declined as I (but seemingly not the barman) could smell vinegar as soon as the pump was pulled. Prices are high, the tables were cluttered with empty glasses and spillages, the atmosphere could best be described as gloomy and there was detritus on the floor. I did not linger.

The pub is found in Marylebone, Central London, W1H 7AF.

A ground floor bar at the base of a 1930s building, very close to Marble Arch tube station. It has a deep interior which lacks for daylight. Known as a gay pub since 1946, although welcoming to all.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 1 of them.
