I’m really not making much progress in my attempt to walk the full length of the Bermondsey Beer Mile and I’ve been stuck in this middle section for a month now. But I have to bring my friend here this evening so that we can partake of the free snacks.

The plan is to visit all the pubs and bars along the Bermondsey Beer Mile, but I cannot resist a second visit here. It is quiet compared to nearby venues, and it turns out there is free food on an early Friday evening.

There is quite a crowd here as a big TV screen is showing the Belgium v England match – but I’ve seen enough World Cup football and sit outside in the sun.

The pub is found in Bermondsey, Central London, SE16 3RA.
It is a remarkable testament to the international reputation and appeal of the Bermondsey Beer Mile that breweries from far and wide are opening Taprooms here, this in Enid Street. Originally this little railway arch bar sold beer from Sweden’s Poppels brewery and a few guests from local Bermondsey breweries. Latterly renamed and operates for Gosnells.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 5 different beers and tried them all.
