Evening for a meal - quite busy. Friendly, fast service and change from £15 for two meals and two drinks.

Large historic building in Montgomery Square, built in 1810 as Cross House. Dedicated by the Archbishop of York in 1912 as a church house. Bar area plus two separate seating areas on the ground floor. A Wetherspoon House since 2000.
